Many Days End draws directly from LA’s surrounds, where Hall has spent many hours, capturing recordings, imagery and just clearing his mind in and around the Santa Monica Mountains, San Fernando Valley and throughout the South Bay and beyond.
“Many Days End for me marks that moment of truth, when the day is closing, another stunning sunset bestows you, and you look back at what you’ve done, good or bad” Hall said.
Hall’s latest release came to fruition over 12-months or longer with numerous periods of hard work and then complete hands off reflection for weeks on end as the material came together.
“This album is a moment of truth for me, I made it exactly as I planned over a number of months, and there’s nothing I would have done differently, it’s the first release of my own that I could sit back on completion and say, ok there’s nothing I would have changed.”
